The container is available in two configurations. Mechanically refrigerated containers require an external power source or generator for operation. Non-operational refrigerated (NOR) containers are decommissioned reefers with the refrigeration motor removed, sold as insulated containers for maintaining ambient temperature.
The external dimensions match standard general purpose containers. The interior space is smaller than standard containers due to the refrigeration unit and ventilation requirements.
